Epson 7800/7880/9880 chip decoder

1. For use with Epson 7800/7880/9880 printers

2. After install the decoder, could use other ink, and save more printing cost

3. Does not affect the printer’s warranty after install the decoder

4. After long time testing, Dongguan Designjet Printers Consumables Co.,Ltd launches Epson 4800 4880 7880 7450 9450 9880 9800 decoders, solve the problems like have to take out the cartridges to decod, air goes into cartridge,  bad of chip contactor, chips are not recognized, and the cartridge could work without chips

Decoder check

1. Open the package, there are decoder A and B, 2pcs of wide connection lines and 8pcs of narrow connection lines

2. Use the double side adhesive to stick the back of the decoders and fix them to the printer

3. Please fix the all connection lines, the blue plug need to insert onto the decoders, wide connection line insert to the top socket

Installation Process:

1. Please install decoder B first, remove the left side printer cover, stick the decoder on the nearest panel position of printer left side

2. Pull out the FPC connection line from the left side panel, install the decoder B another side into right panel socket, the blue side is upwards

J9--CN1     BOX1—CN6   BOX2—CN7    BOX3—CN8   BOX4—CN9

3. Install the FPC plug from printer left side panel CN1 to J10 socket of decoder B. Pay attention to the plug orientation

4. After install, put dust cover back

5. Then install decoder A, remove the right side printer cover, stick the decoder to the nearest position on the right side panel

6. Pull out the FPC connection line from the right side panel, Install the decoder A another side into right panel socket, the blue side is upwards

   J9--CN1     BOX1—CN6   BOX2—CN7    BOX3—CN8   BOX4—CN9

7. Install the FPC plug from printer right side panel CN1 to J10 socket of decoder A. Pay attention to the plug orientation

8. The installation is finish after confirm when the printer is power on, the cartridges all show full ink volume and accepted

Note:

1.After using the decoder, electronic card totally control the electrocircuit, insert or unplug the cartridge, the printer will not react.When printing, please do not unplug the cartridges or refill the ink, it may damage the printer or the print head

2. Users have to check the ink volume within the ink cartridge in time, to avoid the ink is use up to damage the print head

3. If the panel appear the error message, just need to lift up or down the pressure lever

4. If the printer has any problems, and need maintenance or repair, just remove this device

5. Do not put device with strong signals, like mobile phone, beside the decoders to avoid interference
